As a Service Technician you provide technical support for Auto Store products, applications and servicesolutions to our customers in UK.
You will act as a brand ambassador by modelling the Kardex Core Values in every interaction with customers & colleagues and be the face of the Life Cycle Service department at our customer sites across the region, mainly greater Birmingham to Midlands.
In this important role you must prove to be flexible and willing to commit the time and effort necessary to meet our customers' needs ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty during every interaction.

- Your tasks
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Auto Store systems, including remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of PLC and basic software issues.
- Deliver high-quality service within agreed timescales, including customer training, on-call support and technical advice.
- Act as a trusted advisor by promoting and supporting Auto Store products and services, while identifying business opportunities and generating leads.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including service reports, customer feedback and spare parts inventory management.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and contributing positively to team success and continuous improvement.
Your profile
- Good general standard of education and background as Mechanic/ Electronic / Electrical degree
- Comp TIA A+ of similar experience
- Experience in field customer service
- Familiar with diagnostic methods
- Basic computer skills
- Technical / mechanical / electronic experience
- Experience with interfacing and integrating of mechatronic machines into software systems like warehouse management and ERP
- Experience in industrial communication (Field bus, Ethernet, etc.)
- Understanding the importance onsite health and safety
