Responsibilities
- Creating and delivering annual and mid-range product category plans; including market analysis, range planning, price and promotion parameters, key selling points and segmentation/targeting.
- Creating Marketing Plans for selected Target Groups, identifying key dates, campaign messaging and promotions to drive sales within these Target Groups and routes to market.
- Analysis of sales and margin performance of the selected product categories in order to make product, promotion and marketing recommendations.
- Development and implementation of launch strategies for new products and categories.
- Developing strong ongoing competitor analysis, with a key focus on pricing, product offer and route to market.
- Helping drive sales and profitability of new and existing products through marketing, sales training, stock profiling, pricing and other product management activity.
Qualifications
- A-Level qualified (or equivalent) with 3 GCSEs including Maths and English.
- Degree in Marketing or Business preferred.
- Product and Marketing experience within a fast moving business.
- A keen interest in product management and a passion to improve.
- Confident and strong communicator with an analytical and methodical approach.
