Lead the Retail Marketing team to deliver best-in-class multi-channel activities that support the Kärcher UK Retail business vision. Develop and translate long-term brand and category strategies (1, 3, and 5-year plans) into actionable marketing objectives across the consumer journey. Own key external relationships, specifically leading the media agency and overseeing PR, social, and influencer briefings. Manage the total annual marketing budget, ensuring all spend is tracked, resourced efficiently, and aligned with annual planning processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Product Management, and Global Head Office, to ensure brand compliance and strategic alignment. Drive a high-performance culture by mentoring a team of seven and reporting performance metrics to senior UK and International management.
This Is How You WOW
- Marketing degree or professional CIM qualification.
- Proven experience in a Retail B2C environment.
- Knowledge of consumer durables or the cleaning industry (Desirable).
- Extensive background in consumer marketing, brand strategy, large-scale media planning, and agency management.
- Experience with retail media and in-store POS is a plus.
- Expert level in leading, coaching, and motivating teams, alongside strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A strategic, analytical thinker who is innovative and detail-oriented.
- A proactive, hands-on "self-starter" and team player with strong influencing and presentation skills.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
