K

As the world leader in cleaning technology, Kärcher is known for innovation, quality, and sustainability. As a family-owned company, we value strong relationships with both our customers and our employees. To drive the success of our autonomous cleaning technology in the region, we are now looking for a highly skilled, commercially driven, and self-starting Regional KIRA Specialist.

Location: Banbury, UK

About the Role

Kärcher is pioneering the future of industrial cleaning with intelligent, autonomous technology. As our Regional KIRA Specialist, you will act as the primary technical and commercial hub driving the adoption and performance of Kärcher’s autonomous robotics (KIRA) across the region.

In this role, you will serve as a versatile technical expert and customer advocate. You will oversee the full lifecycle of autonomous deployments—from conducting initial site feasibility surveys and live product trials to managing cloud fleet telemetry and delivering hands‑on technical troubleshooting. You will also bridge the gap between regional executive leadership, headquarters engineering teams, and ground-level facility operators.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Diagnostics & Fleet Operations

  • Deliver expert remote and on‑site troubleshooting, software updates, and mechanical or electrical adjustments.
  • Monitor and optimize connected machines using cloud-based fleet management software, IoT telemetry, and web platforms such as KEM or OneView.
  • Provide advanced operational support for autonomous systems, including LiDAR, sonar, optical sensors, 3D cameras, and spatial navigation mapping.

Customer Success & Deployment

  • Oversee end-to-end technical machine delivery, onboarding, and site configuration at customer facilities.
  • Design and lead enablement training programs for facility staff, end‑user operators, and internal sales/demonstration teams.
  • Maintain active customer feedback loops, proactively resolving operational bottlenecks to ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify successful deployments and collaborate on creating impactful customer case studies.

Commercial Enablement & Market Growth

  • Analyze target sectors—including Logistics, Retail, Healthcare, and Public Spaces—to identify high-potential opportunities for autonomous cleaning solutions.
  • Conduct detailed physical site surveys and facility layout feasibility studies to assess infrastructure readiness for KIRA deployments.
  • Deliver customer pitches, product demonstrations, live field trials, and specialized robotics workshops.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Performance Reporting

  • Serve as the vital link connecting HQ technical engineers (AKW), regional leadership (@ALG), and client facility teams.
  • Track and evaluate robot operational metrics, providing performance reports directly to regional executive management.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for

You hold a degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical equivalent—or equivalent hands‑on background in industrial automation, with specialized certifications in Autonomous Systems, IoT Telemetry, or Robotics preferred. You bring proven experience in industrial automation, robotics, and cloud-based IoT fleet platforms.

Your background demonstrates success leading live customer pitches, product demonstrations, physical site feasibility studies, machinery delivery, and technical training, with prior experience hosting specialized sales workshops or producing customer case studies preferred. You combine robust field and remote troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systems with a deep understanding of sensor suites (LiDAR, sonar, optical, 3D cameras) and autonomous navigation mapping, with advanced data analytics capabilities for performance reporting preferred.

Finally, you possess exceptional cross‑functional collaboration and English communication skills to resolve issues objectively and partner with diverse stakeholders, with regional vertical experience across Logistics, Retail, Healthcare, or Public Spaces preferred. A valid driver’s license and the flexibility to travel for on‑site client trials, field visits, and surveys are required.
