About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join a successful and growing business with an annual turnover in excess of £250 million. You will become part of the in-house design team within the marketing department, supporting the Graphic Design Manager and wider team in producing creative content across the Wernick Group's companies, products and services. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your design career within a fast-paced commercial environment. You will work on a wide variety of projects across print and digital media while building your skills and gaining experience across multiple areas of design and marketing. The Graphic Design department acts as the visual voice of the Wernick Group, delivering clear, professional and engaging visual communications across both external marketing and internal communications. We are looking for a creative and motivated individual who enjoys producing high-quality design work, is eager to learn, and is comfortable working across multiple projects with support from the wider team.
Main Duties
- Produce adverts, leaflets and brochures
- Catalogues and professional tender documents
- Producing imagery for company website and intranet
- Support updating company’s social media channels
- Email and printed mail shots
- Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions
- Editing photos and managing photo libraries
- Create social media specific graphics and video
- Support the Graphic Design team with current and upcoming jobs
- Support the Marketing Department in other day to day activities
Personal Specifications
- A graphic design related degree or have proven skills in these areas
- Creative individual, with the ability to manage customers’ expectations
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite software
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Ability to edit video and create animations are a distinct advantage
- Team player, with strong organizational skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
