Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Supported Housing and Floating Support Manager. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join us within our Supported Housing Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering high quality supported housing and floating support services that help customers live independently and achieve positive outcomes.
You’ll lead services that sit at the heart of our mission, working closely with colleagues, commissioners and partners to ensure our supported housing offer continues to grow, innovate and make a real difference to people’s lives.
About The Role
In this strategic and people focused role, you’ll have responsibility for our Supported Housing and Floating Support services, including day to day delivery, contract performance, service development and future growth. You’ll provide clear leadership to your teams, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard, performance targets are met, and customers receive safe, effective and person-centred support. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll also act as a key operational and strategic contact helping to develop new services, respond to commissioning opportunities and drive continuous improvement. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our supported housing services remain compliant, financially viable and aligned with best practice, while always keeping customers at the centre of what we do.
About You
You’re a confident and inclusive leader with strong experience in supported housing or related housing services. You’re comfortable working at both a strategic and operational level and bring a collaborative approach to managing people, services and partnerships. You’ll have:
- Proven management experience within a complex housing or supported housing environment
- A strong track record of leading teams and delivering high quality services
- Experience of working with commissioners and external stakeholders
- The ability to manage budgets, performance and risk effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence and build trust
- Recognised professional qualification in the field of housing management services
- A full, valid UK driving licence
You’ll also be able to think strategically, champion innovation and support teams through change while staying grounded in the practical realities of service delivery.

You’ll be part of our Supported Housing Team, led by Jon McDonald, Head of Supported Housing.
Key Details
- Supported Housing and Floating Support Manager – permanent role
- Salary is £55,193 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,405 per annum
- Location: Gosforth
- Regular travel will be required
- 37 hours per week with agile working
