Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Senior Data Engineer. We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us in our ICT & Digital Transformation department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that's making a real difference in people's lives. The ICT & Digital Transformation department provides enabling digital services that contribute to Karbon Homes' mission.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering data-related services to the organisation including processing data for reporting & analytics products, data integrations and system migrations, leading the design, build and maintenance of the team's data-related services. They'll act as a positive member of the ICT team, providing the highest possible standard of service to customers.
About You
- A strong record of demonstrable achievement in delivering data services
- Knowledge of modern data engineering tools, technologies and practices
- Understanding of data protection and data governance practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills applicable to working with data
- Relevant ICT qualification, or equivalent work experience
- Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Details
- Senior Data Engineer - fixed term role (2 years)
- Salary: £60,000 per annum
- Location: Predominantly office based at Gosforth or Stanley; attendance at other Karbon offices may be required. Working from home is available depending on business need
- 37 hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
