About The Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual to manage grounds maintenance teams across the Karbon footprint. The role involves line‑management of ground maintenance teams, carrying out inspections, and liaising with stakeholders, contractors and customers. The successful candidate will be a problem‑solver with a high level of resilience and a strong focus on customer service, performance, safety and quality, with an emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement. The role may require operating anywhere within the current Karbon Homes geographical footprint and managing internal and external contractual obligations. A full UK driving licence is essential.
About You
You should have a thorough understanding of grounds maintenance practices, be aware of future industry challenges, and possess the knowledge, skills and experience to manage a multidisciplinary team of in‑house staff and approved subcontractors in a fast‑moving, dynamic and expanding environment. You must be dynamic, collaborative, engaging, and have strong customer‑service, people‑management and organisational skills. You should be highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines, deliver KPIs and targets within budget constraints, while maintaining high quality and safety standards. You must be competent with Microsoft Office systems and able to train your teams in the use of equipment. A resilient approach and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
