Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Solutions Architect. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our ICT & Digital Transformation Directorate, we're looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the post of Solutions Architect. The successful candidate will be part of our ICT architecture team, working to support the organisation and its subsidiary companies to assist with the development and maintenance of an architectural roadmap to support the programme of work within the ICT&DT department.
About The Role
The Solutions Architect will work with our business stakeholders and ICT development teams to find the best technical solutions that really make a difference. Playing a key role in shaping system architecture and ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives and improve colleague and customer experience. They'll collaborate with the Group Director and Head of ICT & Digital Transformation, Technical & Data Architects and a range of development teams to design and implement system design solutions.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys solving complex business challenges and designing impactful technology solutions. You'll have proven experience of working as a Solutions Architect, either within housing or across other sectors, with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, equivalent education or work experience or relevant professional or ICT qualification.

The successful candidate will work in our ICT & Digital Transformation team led by Jo Hamilton: Group Director, ICT & Digital Transformation.

- Salary - 66,860 per annum
- Location: Based at either our Stanley (DH9 7YE) or Gosforth (NE12 8EG) office
- Some travel will be required
- 37 hours per week with agile working
