We're looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Project Manager (New Business) in the Development Delivery Team. The Development Delivery New Business Team is responsible for identifying and delivering new land and development opportunities to support Karbon's new build development strategy.
About The Role
The Project Manager (New Business) will support the implementation of Karbon's new build development strategy. The role will support the identification and appraisal of new business and assist in project managing the delivery of new homes from inception through to transition into construction delivery. The Project Manager will play a key role in assisting with development programme delivery, performance monitoring and internal and external audit compliance. You'll work as part of a team to achieve targets, KPIs and objectives. Developing and sustaining relationships with Local Authority and development partners will be a key part of the role. You'll be involved in a diverse range of projects from Section 106 acquisitions, land-led development, direct delivery and JVs. Karbon's development programme covers a wide range of projects and tenure types across general needs housing, supported housing and extra care, regeneration and joint ventures.
About You
We're looking for a confident, commercially astute project manager who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by delivering meaningful outcomes.
- Experience of delivering housing developments (grant and non-grant funded)
- Experience in land acquisition, appraisals, and financial modelling
- Ability to lead a project team
- Experience in negotiating and securing contracts and partnerships
- A focus on quality, customer outcomes, and place-making

Key Details
- Project Manager New Business - permanent role
- Salary is £49,401 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,405 per annum
- Location: York/Leeds
- Regular travel will be required
- 37 Hours per week with agile working
