Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Finance and Benefits Manager. We’re looking for a confident and collaborative Finance and Benefits Manager to join our Finance Directorate, playing a key role in our ambitious transformation programme, Good to Great.
About The Role
As a Finance and Benefits Manager, you’ll be part of cross‑functional project teams, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered. You’ll lead the development and delivery of a strong benefits framework, ensuring benefits are clearly defined, owned, tracked, and achieved throughout the lifecycle of the Good to Great Programme. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, programme teams, and benefit owners to align cashable and non‑cashable benefits with organisational priorities, and you’ll be a key member of the Finance Leadership and Management Team, acting as a positive role model for our values.
About You
You’re a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and benefits management, comfortable working in complex, fast‑paced environments. You bring experience of leading benefits realisation across programmes or major change initiatives, challenging assumptions, analysing data, and providing clear, insightful reporting. You enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and have a collaborative approach.
- Recognised professional qualification in accounting or financial services (or equivalent experience)
- Experienced in managing financial and non‑financial benefits within robust governance frameworks
- Confident leading and influencing others, with a coaching style that supports development
- Committed to ethical, inclusive and high‑standard work

Working With Us
You’ll be part of our Finance team led by Julie Clarke, Group Director Finance, and will work closely with Luke Mitchell, Good to Great Programme Manager.
Key Details
- Role: Finance and Benefits Manager – fixed‑term until 31 March 2027
- Salary: ÂŁ61,811 per annum
- Location: Gosforth office (regular travel between Karbon offices required)
- Hours: 37 hours per week with agile working
