Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Senior Procurement Specialist. The role involves both above‐ and below‐threshold procurement activities, working with stakeholders to develop and deliver sourcing strategies that ensure the organisation complies with standing financial instructions and the procurement act.

The Senior Procurement Specialist will be part of the Procurement Team led by the Group Procurement Manager, Chris Smith, reporting into the Head of Legal Services within the Governance and Integration Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
  • Manage procurement activities across above and below threshold spend.
  • Ensure compliance with financial instructions and the procurement act.
  • Support the organisation and its subsidiary companies in procuring and contracting goods and services.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a procurement team.
  • CIP-qualified or equivalent experience through practice.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and compliance.
Salary & Location

Salary: £45,895 per annum.
Location: To be agreed – agile work from home or any Karbon office. Some travel will be required.
