We are looking to expand our team of highly skilled L&OD professionals by appointing a qualified and experienced Learning and Organisation Development Specialist for 22.2 hours a week over a 1 year fixed term contract (maternity cover)
About The Role
The housing sector is currently in a period of significant transformation with new legislation, regulatory frameworks and rising expectations around conduct and competency. This has created a growing need in L&OD to professionalise our workforce, formalise our processes, embed meaningful development programmes, and produce accurate reporting to meet rising expectations around conduct and competency. This role will be pivotal in formalising our approach to learning and organisational development – ensuring programmes are not only embedded well, but are measurable, impactful, reportable, and aligned with both operational priorities and sector-wide expectations.
As a Learning and Organisation Development Specialist, you will create and deliver learning and organisation development interventions that support the effective delivery of our strategies and objectives.
You will be responsible for effectively scoping, creating, and embedding world-class, measurable L&OD activities that positively and sustainably impact the business.
In this role, you will be required to use a wide range of technology, content creation tools, and modern facilitation techniques to deliver an excellent learning experience, which you will evaluate and continually improve.
This role is varied and wide-ranging. You will design and create digital and physical learning interventions while working with the People & OD team to provide support, advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders.
You will act as a point of contact and support for various teams while building great relationships with our ICT, Internal Communication, and the wider People & OD team.
About You
You will be an experienced L&OD professional with good knowledge of workplace learning and organisation development practices. You\’ll have experience of embedding change and growing culture and have a passion for developing our colleague\’s and enhancing their learning experience.
You will be an efficient and organised person who thrives on challenge, is comfortable using your own initiative to facilitate training sessions and create high-quality digital content in an ever-changing and ambiguous environment.
You will need to be a credible and reliable team player who can build relationships through excellent communication and stakeholder management and have a passion for delivering a high level of customer service.
About Our Team
The successful candidate will join our welcoming and high performing team, which consists of three further L&OD Specialists and an L&OD Co-ordinator.
