This role is to support vulnerable people experiencing mental ill health and/or chaotic lifestyles in their own homes and out in the community.

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced female Support Worker to join our Supported Housing Team. You will have an allocated caseload of clients who you will support in their own homes and in the community. You are responsible for managing your own caseload and diary whilst lone working.

You should have some experience of supporting vulnerable adults and promoting their independence to help them achieve personal goals.

Location: Gosforth. Regular travel across North Tyneside will be required. This is a 37‑hour per week role with agile working.

We recognise the contribution people with criminal records can make as colleagues and welcome all applications. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (ROA). Successful candidates must submit an enhanced disclosure and barring check application during pre‑employment checks.

Salary: £26,856 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,405 per annum

Annual leave: 26 days per annum (rising to 31 after 3 years), plus birthday leave
