Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Housing Officer. We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Housing Officer within the general housing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference to our customers and the communities they live in.

As a Housing Officer at Karbon Homes you will provide an excellent housing and estate management service to our customers and communities. This opportunity will empower you to make a difference to people's lives by allocating their home and ensuring the estates are well managed and a safe and secure place for them to thrive. This role is based in either the South Durham area or Stockton / Darlington depending on your preference with travel on occasion needed across South Durham and Teesside.

You will demonstrate that you have the ability, attitude and interpersonal skills to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues and support the work of Karbon in our communities. You will have good organisation, time management and ICT skills. But most importantly you will be great with people.

  • Housing Officer - Fixed Term until Tuesday 31 March 2026
  • Salary is £35,117 per annum (pay award pending)
  • Karbon car payment of £2,260 per annum
  • Location: Gosforth, Stanley, Teesside (to be agreed)
  • Regular travel will be required
  • Full time - 37 hours per week with some homeworking available / flexible working
