We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in nursing homes and residential environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to residents, including those with dementia. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Skills & Responsibilities- Supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, supportive and high-quality care environment for all residents.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including CQC standards, health and safety, and safeguarding protocols.
- Engage with families and external stakeholders to promote the facility's services and maintain strong community relationships.
- Proven experience in supervising within a nursing home or residential services (elderly/dementia).
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and engage with residents.
- In-depth knowledge of care plans, dementia care practices, and senior care regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing challenges proactively within the facility.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it).
- Prior experience as Registered Manager or Deputy Manager of elderly people/dementia care homes.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Enthusiasm, passion and determination to achieve Outstanding and deliver the highest quality person-centred care.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the care sector, including regulatory frameworks and running a care home.
Licence/Certification: NMC (preferred)
Location: Wellingborough NN8 (preferred)
