Overview
Talent Acquisition Lead – End-to-end Recruitment – Kara Healthcare
Role: Senior Finance Associate in the central finance team. This is a key role supporting the financial operations across our group, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all areas of accounts payable and receivable.
You will work closely with our Finance Manager and operational teams, playing a vital role in maintaining our financial integrity while supporting a business that truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes for multiple care homes.
- Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments in line with company policy.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Raise and issue accurate customer invoices; monitor and follow up on outstanding debts.
- Maintain and update ledgers, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist with month-end close processes including reconciliations and accruals.
- Support the Finance Manager with reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with suppliers, home managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems and procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or similar finance roles (ideally within a multi-site organisation).
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident using accounting software and Excel (experience with Xero or Sage is an advantage).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with the drive to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
