Village Pharmacy Group are currently looking for a Delivery Driver to join our dedicated Pharmacy team, delivery medications to care homes.
Position: Delivery Driver
Job Type: Fulltime | Flexible | Monday - Friday
Pay: £11.44
Location: Cosby, Narborough, Wellington, Peterborough, Countesthorpe
The ideal candidate will have previous multi-drop experience within the transport environment and at least 3 of years driving experience. You will be able to provide excellent customer service and be a great communicator. It is essential that you have a valid, manual UK drivers\' licence.
As a Delivery Driver, you will play an integral part in delivering medical products to patients\' homes. What makes this delivery driver different is you will be the face of Village Pharmacy Healthcare Services; you will deliver directly to our patients in their homes and will be expected to provide the highest of standards of care towards all customers both internally and externally. A company van will be provided for this position.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with our Pharmacists and Home Managers
- Safe and secure delivery of prescriptions and medications
- Ensuring safeguarding and maintaining the dignity of our residents
- Communicating and working as part of a team
Requirements
- Preferably (at least 3 years) experience as a delivery driver
- Valid, manual UK drivers\' licence
- Passion for providing excellent Customer Service
