About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Domestic Assistant to join our care home team. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, helping them feel truly at home. This is a rewarding role where your work will have a direct impact on the wellbeing and happiness of older people in our care.
Responsibilities
- What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard
- Ensuring all areas of the home are clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Following cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
- Assisting with laundry duties when required
- Safely using cleaning equipment and products
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Working closely with the wider care home team to maintain a comfortable environment
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or domestic experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
