Job Description
Location: 37 New Road, Whittlesey
Cedar Court Residential Care is currently seeking Maintenance Person who is passionate and enthusiastic about developing a career within maintenance and care.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with staff and address their concerns
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Basic welding skills for minor repairs or fabrication work
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to supervise and provide guidance to other maintenance personnel when necessary.
