We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive our brand strategy in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare marketing, particularly Adult Social Care, including digital strategies, content creation, and market analysis. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who has a broad network of contacts to maximise brand awareness opportunities, and someone who has a tenacious approach to successfully strengthen relationships and explore what’s new in the Healthcare Sector, whilst having a good understanding of Care Homes, Occupancy, and Commissioning New Homes.
The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing initiatives that align with business goals and resonate with target audiences.
Main Duties:
- Public Relations: Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships within the healthcare sector, seeking opportunities to support our Care Home portfolio.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Kara Healthcare’s business objectives and enhances brand visibility and market share.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Provide guidance on best practices in marketing and ensure professional development opportunities for team members.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the Kara Healthcare brand, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints. Implement brand positioning strategies that differentiate Kara Healthcare in the marketplace.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve marketing goals and maximize return on investment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including analytics and performance measurement.
