About the Role The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Kara Healthcare, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, effective budgeting, and strong internal controls.
This role provides strategic financial guidance to support operational excellence and sustainable growth across the organization.
Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and healthcare industry requirements.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and policies.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making.
Supervise and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
Significant experience in financial management or controllership, ideally within healthcare or a regulated industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with accounting and enterprise resource planning systems.
