Are you a strategic and inspirational leader with a passion for driving excellence in care? Kara Healthcare is seeking an exceptional Group Operations Director to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead a portfolio of high-quality care services, including care homes, supported living, and specialist services.

This is a pivotal role for a proven leader who can combine operational expertise with a strong commercial mindset ensuring outstanding quality, compliance, and performance across our growing organisation.

As Group Operations Director, you’ll:

  • Lead on Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure services meet and exceed regulatory standards (CQC and other relevant bodies).
  • Drive Strategic & Commercial Success
  • Take full ownership of budgets, delivering strong financial performance (revenue, EBITDA, cost control).
  • Partner with Business Development to identify opportunities for growth and new service launches.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Regional and Service Managers, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for quality, staffing, and financial performance.
  • Proven track record in improving quality ratings and delivering commercial success.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (CQC, Care Standards, Health & Safety, Safeguarding).
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Relevant qualification in business, management, or health/social care.
