EPOS Field Engineer £30,000 to £35,000 DOE + Van, Laptop & Overtime
Location: Field-based, with regular travel across the UK
Base: Head Office in Tattenhall, Cheshire (occasional visits required to collect stock)
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience + overtime + on-call pay
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday no weekend travel
Club Control is the UK’s number one EPOS and membership system provider for social and sports clubs, trusted by over 2,500 venues nationwide. We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a confident, hands-on EPOS Field Engineer to join our friendly team.
You’ll travel across the UK installing and maintaining our systems, visiting our Cheshire head office periodically to collect stock and prep for jobs. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems, and being the person who gets things up and running, this one’s for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and maintaining Club Control EPOS systems at clubs across the UK
- Diagnosing hardware, software, and networking issues (break/fix)
- Running and testing Cat5/Cat6 cabling
- Supporting system upgrades and giving clubs a smooth install experience
- Providing phone support on a 1-in-5 rota (with on-call pay)
- Travelling nationwide, with occasional overnight stays (hotel and meal allowance provided)
- Visiting our Cheshire office periodically to collect equipment and stock
What We’re Looking For
- EPOS installation or IT field support experience preferred
- Confident with Windows OS, basic networking, and cabling
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to manage your own time and work independently on the road
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- A people person who’s professional and friendly with customers
