The Business Tools team establishes and maintains a wide range of business‑process specific support tools. We use out‑of‑the‑box solutions, the latest AI tools and custom workflow tools to increase the productivity of business teams and support high levels of data quality. Business users need effective tools to complete their tasks. As the Product Owner, your role is to deeply understand the objectives and the business processes that the business users implement to deliver those objectives. You will understand the tools that the business currently uses and drive the thinking in how to improve them to help better achieve the business objectives. You will then drive configuration of existing tools and, when needed, provide direction to an AI Agent and a software developer to effect bespoke changes and then support the business users to drive the most value from those changes over the long term.
What You’ll Bring To The Role

- Experience documenting business processes using a formal approach, such as ArchiMate, BPMN or UML
- Experience using a broad range of IT system user interfaces and experience developing user interface requirements.
- Comfortable in coordinating and facilitating requirement workshops and negotiating with up to 10 stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal translation of technology to business terms.
- Target‑driven and focused on owning a business solution delivery timeline.
- A team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others.
- Self‑organising and customer / end‑user delivery focused.
- An understanding of data governance frameworks and protocols.
- An understanding of ITIL processes and standards.
