Role Description

This is a temporary, on-site role located in Bristol for a Sessional Tutor in Computing/Engineering. The Sessional Tutor will facilitate learning by delivering engaging and high-quality teaching sessions in their subject area. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lessons, providing feedback, assessing student performance, supporting student success, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning experience. Qualifications

• Expertise in disciplines such as Computing, Engineering, or related fields, with practical and theoretical knowledge.
• Experience in teaching or training, including delivering lectures, managing tutorials, and handling classroom activities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills to effectively engage and support students.
• Ability to provide detailed feedback and assess student work according to specified academic standards.
• Experience with educational tools, e-learning platforms, or relevant technologies to enhance teaching delivery.
• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in Computing, Engineering, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and contribute to curriculum development.
