We are looking for an IT Associate or Freelance Cybersecurity & Compliance professional to handle hands-on GRC execution (audits, risk documentation, metrics, and incident response). This role includes delivering specialized training across the GCC region, so we are specifically looking for trainers with robust worldwide experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive IT and Cybersecurity training programs for diverse audiences, from introductory to advanced levels based in GCC regions.
- Translate complex IT and Cybersecurity standards into clear, concise, and engaging training materials, including presentations, case studies, and practical exercises.
- Conduct interactive workshops and seminars, both in-person and virtually, ensuring a high level of participant engagement and understanding.
- Stay updated of the latest IT and Cybersecurity developments, pronouncements, and interpretations, integrating them into existing training content and developing new modules as needed.
- Provide expert guidance and support to trainees, addressing their questions and clarifying challenging IT and Cybersecurity concepts.
- Assess training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and performance evaluations, continuously refining training methodologies and content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in applying and interpreting IT and Cybersecurity concepts.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a training or instructional role, with a strong track record of designing and delivering effective technical training programs.
- Relevant certifications in information storage and management and Azure Security is highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of current IT and Cybersecurity standards, interpretations, and practical application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Able to perform well in high-pressure situations and adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
