We are looking for a Student Administration Manager to join our team. The Student Administration Manager is responsible for providing a professional support service to all colleagues at Kaplan Open Learning (KOL); including responsibility for co-ordination and maintenance of the administration processes and frameworks for our partner Universities. The team provides support, advice and guidance in relation to a range of administration processes including academic regulations, Board of Examiners procedures, academic integrity and extenuating circumstances.

- Experience of working in an academic administrative role in higher education.
- Experience of interpreting and explaining complex policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate with staff at all levels to provide advice and guidance on quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with staff at all levels.
- Excellent IT skills, primarily Word, Excel, Powerpoint and online meeting software such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Experience of dealing with higher education administration procedures including academic integrity, extenuating circumstances and late submission.
- Experience of problem solving in an educational environment
- Experience of servicing Committees and Boards
- Experience of line management.
- Advanced Excel skills such as use of formulas, pivot tables and V lookup
