We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join Positively Languages formally Kaplan Languages Group (KLG). We're looking for a Social Media strategic marketer who understands that brands don't grow through advertising alone, they grow through communities, creators, partnerships and authentic conversations.

You'll shape how our brands are discovered, experienced and talked about across social media, creator communities and strategic partnerships. On influencer, you build a year-round programme that brings creators to our schools to tell authentic stories. On partnerships, you grow a network of affiliates and brand partners that extend our reach. You’re also the team’s eyes and ears in local markets — identifying PR opportunities, supporting regional fairs, and ensuring global campaigns land effectively. As a French speaker, you play a key role in quality-checking non-English marketing content alongside your assistant.

Positively Languages launches as a new brand in November, and you’ll be building our social presence and creator network from day one.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Substantial experience in social media management, ideally across multiple brands or markets.
  • Proven experience building and managing influencer marketing programmes.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a junior team member.
  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with social listening and scheduling tools such as Brandwatch.
  • Fluency in French and strong English; additional European language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Confidence working with budgets and reporting on return on investment.
  • A keen eye for brand consistency across languages and channels.

What we offer:

  • As well as a competitive salary, hybrid/home working where possible, and paths for career progression, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
  • 28 days annual leave
  • 24/7 confidential helpline providing counselling and other support services
  • Company pension contributions
  • Maternity, Adoption, Shared Parental and Paternity/Partner pay which is well above statutory levels
  • Medicash Health Cash Plan

Please apply with CV and cover letter no later than 11pm on Sunday 27th September 2026. Note, we recommend that you apply at the earliest as we reserve the right to close the role before the closing date if we have gathered a suitable shortlist.

We are committed to working in a diverse organisation and strive to provide equality of opportunity for all. We encourage and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or identity, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnership.
