Sessional Tutor – Social Sciences\\n\\nWorking Pattern: Part Time, 18 hours per week\\nContract Type: Fixed Term Contract, Until May 2026\\n\\nWe are looking for a Sessional Tutor to join our team.\\n\\nAs a Sessional Tutor at Nottingham Trent International College, you will join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for passionate Business Teacher or Tutor who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.\\n\\nWhat you’ll bring to the role\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience of teaching to post 16 students (a teaching qualification would be an advantage).\\n\\n * \\n\\n The ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities that guide and support students to achieve and flourish.\\n\\n * \\n\\n The ability to develop and update innovative teaching material that engages all students.\\n\\n * \\n\\n The ability to work collaboratively as part of a range of different teams in order to continually improve the student experience.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proven track record of using this to enhance the student experience.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Demonstrable experience of using technology to inform teaching practice and a willingness to embrace innovations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A Post Graduate qualification but strong first degree or relevant professional experience will be considered.\\n\\nWhat we do\\n\\nKaplan International Pathways, a division of Kaplan Inc., offers international students a wide range of flexible study options – from University preparation programmes in the UK, Australia, USA and Japan through to full degree programmes in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
