Sessional Tutor – English for Academic Purposes Reference Number: JR(phone number removed) Location: Kaplan International College London Working Pattern: Part Time, 10 hours per week Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, Until end of June 2026 Number of roles: Multiple Salary: £37.83 per hour We are looking for Sessional Tutors to join our team. As a Sessional Tutor at KICL (Kaplan International College London), you will join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. We’re looking for individuals who have knowledge and experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes and Academic Research skills with an engaging and student-centred approach. Only CELTA qualified (or equivalent) candidates will be considered for the role. A DELTA or equivalent is desirable as well. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and driven EAP Tutor who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader. What you’ll bring to the role * Experience of teaching to post 16 students (a teaching qualification would be an advantage). * The ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities that guide and support students to achieve and flourish. * The ability to develop and update innovative teaching material that engages all students. * The ability to work collaboratively as part of a range of different teams in order to continually improve the student experience. * Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. * A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proven track record of using this to enhance the student experience. * Demonstrable experience of using technology to inform teaching practice and a willingness to embrace innovations. * A Post Graduate qualification but strong first degree or relevant professional experience will be considered.
