We are looking for a Sessional Tutor in Mathematics and Statistics to join our team. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in Mathematics and Statistics, who can contribute to the delivery of foundation and international year one level modules. The ability to teach across a range of mathematical and statistical topics, support students from diverse educational backgrounds, and deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences will be highly valued.
As a Sessional Tutor at Kaplan International College London, you will join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic educator who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience of teaching post-16 students (a recognised teaching qualification would be an advantage).
- A student-centred approach and the ability to plan, facilitate and review engaging learning experiences that enable all students to achieve and flourish.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of international students in transition to studying Higher Education in the UK.
- Demonstrable experience of using digital technologies, including AI, to enhance learning, assessment and student engagement, together with a willingness to embrace innovation.
- The ability to develop and continually enhance innovative learning materials that support active, inclusive and engaging learning.
- A postgraduate qualification is desirable; however, a strong first degree and/or relevant professional experience will also be considered.
