Mathematics and Physical Sciences Tutor in London

We are looking for a Mathematics & Physical Sciences Tutor to join our team. We are looking for someone who can teach across Mathematics and Physical Sciences including Physics and Engineering related modules. The ability to contribute flexibly across subject areas and support students from diverse educational backgrounds will be highly valued.

As a Tutor at Kaplan International College London, you will join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes. What you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience of teaching to post 16 students (a teaching qualification would be an advantage).
• The ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities that guide and support students to achieve and flourish.
• The ability to develop and update innovative teaching material that engages all students.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a range of different teams in order to continually improve the student experience.
• Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proven track record of using this to enhance the student experience.
• Demonstrable experience of using technology to inform teaching practice and a willingness to embrace innovations.
• A Post Graduate qualification but strong first degree or relevant professional experience will be considered.

The role is based at Kaplan International College London (KIC London), a vibrant university pathways college where students from more than 80 countries come to prepare for entry onto undergraduate or postgraduate courses at one of our 8 prestigious university partners.
