We are looking for a Director of Studies to join the Kaplan Languages Group (KLG). We pride ourselves on providing English teaching which is highly effective and stimulating for our diverse study body. As Director of Studies, you will lead the teaching team to ensure that those high standards are adhered to at all times and that teacher/student ratios are well managed.

From induction of new teachers and new students through to professional development sessions, you will work to attract and retain great teachers who will get the very best out of their students and will help us to maintain the excellent rates of recommendation that we enjoy across our schools. This is an excellent opportunity for an EFL Teacher with managerial experience looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • TEFLQ Status - For example via a DELTA or equivalent
  • Ability to deal with and resolve a high volume of queries efficiently
  • Ability to demonstrate safe recruitment practices leading to the hiring of exceptional staff
  • Ability to develop learner autonomy with students
  • Ability to find and present solutions to problems
  • Ability to manage and implement change
  • Ability to manage performance and development of staff
