We are looking for a Programme Coordinator to join our team. The University of Essex Online is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join the Department of Health as a Programme Coordinator. You will work with the team to provide high-level and professional operational support in the academic administration of our online psychology programmes (undergraduate and postgraduate). You will also work on ad-hoc projects, such as administratively supporting our Head of Health in preparing for annual programme reviews, periodic reviews and course development.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Essential:
    • A degree in a health related area or an area relevant to our programmes, e.g. leadership and management
    • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
    • The ability to use all Microsoft Office package platforms to ensure consistent, accessible and ongoing record keeping and maintenance of programme-related data.
    • The ability to prioritise and co-ordinate own workload and work to set deadlines.
    • Willingness to take on additional projects as and when required.
  • Desirable:
    • Masters degree
    • Experience of working in Higher Education.
    • Experience of administrating online teaching and/or delivery.
    • HEA membership.
    • BPS membership.
