We are looking for a motivational leader who can build on this success and drive the College in the next phase of its development. This is someone with exceptional relationship management skills, an unwavering commitment to student and customer-focused excellence and the ability to lead a team with fairness and inclusivity, whilst demonstrating a commitment to having a diverse, high-performing team. As College Director at GIC you will be responsible for the leadership and direction of the College. Your focus will be to ensure that the College delivers an exceptional experience to each student – from the quality of teaching and support through to the standard of facilities, the high level of pastoral and wellbeing support and overseeing a 24 hour experience. You will support all staff in the College to deliver outstanding service and ensure the successful progression of our students to the University of Glasgow.

What you’ll bring to the role:
- Extensive experience of leading teams in an educational or student-driven context.
- Knowledge of the needs of international students within an academic, welfare and experiential environment.
- A strong and demonstrable commitment to inclusive student and customer-centred delivery.
- Excellent relationship management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a willingness and ability to lead inclusively.
- Experience in managing resources and budgets and good financial planning skills.
- Excellent teamworking skills, both as a leader and as a member of different teams.
- A commitment to, and proven track record of, improving and enhancing performance of teams and operations.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- A postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification would be desirable.
