We are looking for a Sessional Tutor to join our team. As a Sessional Tutor at UWE Bristol International College, you will provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional Tutor who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Experience of teaching post-16 students (a recognised teaching qualification would be an advantage).
  • A student-centred approach and the ability to plan, facilitate and review engaging learning experiences that enable all students to achieve and flourish.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of international students in transition to studying Higher Education in the UK.
  • Demonstrable experience of using digital technologies, including AI, to enhance learning, assessment and student engagement, together with a willingness to embrace innovation.
  • The ability to develop and continually enhance innovative learning materials that support active, inclusive and engaging learning.
  • A postgraduate qualification is desirable; however, a strong first degree and/or relevant professional experience will also be considered.
