We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our team at Kaplan Living, in the role of Deputy Manager for our student residence in Brighton. Reporting to the General Manager, you will assist with the running of the residences, ensuring a first-class residential and customer experience.

To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate a track record of delivering excellent customer service, strong attention to detail and experience in managing people. You'll be part of a team which will provide a 'home from home atmosphere' to international students, offering a vibrant social community and a safe secure environment where students can relax.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Experience of working in student accommodation or other hospitality accommodation services.
  • Demonstrable approach to service excellence, customer care and a sensitivity to students’ needs.
  • An understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and welfare practices within an educational environment.
  • A working knowledge of the ANUK Accreditation Scheme and Health and Safety Management.
  • Can manage a team proactively in the delivery of high quality services and continuous improvement.
  • Can embed inclusive practices in all aspects of their work, being an Inclusive Champion to all staff and students.
