We are looking for a College Director to join our team. University Brighton International College (UBIC) is a highly successful joint educational partnership between Kaplan International Pathways and University of Brighton and has been operating for over 13 years, based on the University’s campus.
As College Director at UBIC you will be responsible for the leadership and direction of the College. Your focus will be to ensure that the College delivers an exceptional experience to each student – from the quality of teaching and support through to the standard of facilities, the high level of pastoral and wellbeing support and overseeing a 24 hour experience. You will support all staff in the College to deliver outstanding service and ensure the successful progression of our students to the University of Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivational education leader who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Extensive experience of leading academic and support teams in the education sector.
- Knowledge of the needs of international students.
- A strong and demonstrable commitment to inclusive student and customer-centred delivery.
- Excellent relationship management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a willingness and ability to lead inclusively.
- Experience in managing resources and budgets and good financial planning skills.
- Excellent teamworking skills, both as a leader and as a member of different teams.
- A commitment to, and proven track record of, improving and enhancing performance of teams and operations.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- A postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification would be desirable.
