We are looking for a General Manager to join our team. The General Manager will take the lead role in the management of Kaplan Living Brighton, ensuring the property is managed and operated in line with agreed operating principles driving industry-leading service levels to students, parents and stakeholders. In Brighton, the residence and the University of Brighton International College are a short distance apart, and our General Manager works closely with the College Director and College Services to ensure a seamless approach to safeguarding and student experience.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience of working in student accommodation
- A demonstrable approach to service excellence, customer care and a sensitivity to students' needs
- An understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and welfare practices within an educational environment
- A working knowledge of the ANUK Accreditation Scheme and Health and Safety Management
- Ability to effectively plan to manage budgets and resources efficiently and meet priorities and targets
- Capability to lead a team proactively in the delivery of high quality services and continuous improvement
- Ability to embed inclusive practices
