I am currently looking for a Practice Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients, which will include a wide range of SMEs from Sole Traders, Limited Companies and Partnerships. Whilst specialising in the Healthcare sector, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts
- Overseeing client deadlines with managing your own workload
- Guiding and supporting junior members of staff
- Responding to technical accounting and finance related queries from clients and staff
- Debrief with clients following the preparation of their financial statements.
Ideally fully qualified (AAT, CIMA, ICAS, ACCA, ACA), you will have experience of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts, essentially having experience with working in a busy practice. You will showcase experience with liaising with clients, with a keen desire to develop and progress with a growing firm.
