Health & Safety Manager Staffordshire £40k – £45k + Fantastic Company Benefits Permanent I am currently looking for an accomplished Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to provide accurate guidance to the company on all Health and Safety related matters Whilst ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and legislation, you will implement and manage long term Health and Safety initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement. With experience within a busy industrial manufacturing environment, you will be challenged to monitor industry trends and H&S legislation changes, advising management on the necessary adjustments to policies and procedures, providing expert advice on H&S related issues Acting as the primary point of contact relating to Health and Safety matters, your key responsibilities will also be to: – Prepare and submit auditory reports when required, managing internal & external auditing processes. Conduct regular risk assessments, generating site specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and spot check audits to identify potential hazards and recommended corrective actions. Recommend preventative and implement corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of improvements. Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses and develop strategies to prevent recurrence. Whilst promoting a positive culture and approach towards health, safety, environment and sustainability, you will ensure all health and safety best practices, policies and procedures are followed to mitigate risk across the business. Degree qualified or equivalent in Quality / H&S, you will have had experience of working in anenvironment which conforms to management standards, such as ISO9001 / ISO14001 Ideally with Six Sigma qualifications, you will have proven experience delivering operationalexcellence and continuous improvement projects.
