I am currently looking for Shift Engineers to strengthen a busy Production Team based in the Gloucestershire area.
With a strong multi-skilled background, and the proven ability to work with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment, your key responsibilities include:
- Proactive, planned-preventative maintenance to ensure our existing equipment is able to meet capacity demand and efficiency targets.
- Reactive maintenance to ensure minimal machine downtime.
- Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies.
- Assisting with the introduction of new equipment to a market-leading production facility as part of our continued drive for innovation.
- Continuous professional development through industry specific training.
You will be able to fault find on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Experience with steam, heat exchangers and soft water plants would be advantageous.
Ideally you will have a relevant qualification - which may include an ONC or HND / HNC or a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
