Mechanical Fitter We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter Working as part of a skilled Engineering team, you will play a key role in the installation of material handling systems This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive maintenance professional with strong mechanical skills and experience within a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have

  • A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or City & Guilds Level 3).
  • Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
  • Welding, grinding, and oxy-acetylene cutting experience.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
