The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Fitter with a strong background in electrical assembly, panel wiring or mechanical fitting?
KAP Technical is looking for skilled and motivated Electrical / Mechanical Assembly Fitters to join a reputable company within the engineering and manufacturing sector on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical fitting, assembly and installation tasks.
- Install and wire electrical control panels in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components to the required standards.
- Identify and resolve assembly issues and technical faults.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with quality requirements.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in electrical fitting, assembly or a similar engineering role.
- Practical experience in control panel wiring and electrical installations.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Good mechanical aptitude and a sound understanding of engineering principles.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications are desirable.
- Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of electrical assembly standards and safe working practices
