About the Role: Colour-Focused Salon Educator covering Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland.

As a Salon Educator, you must enjoy driving and be prepared to stay away from home, working a comprehensive journey plan. You will be engaging with salon owners and staff, building strong relationships, and driving loyalty to the Kao Salon Division Portfolio. Your role will be pivotal in training and developing hairdressers' skills, ensuring they achieve the best results for their clients using Goldwell products. You'll also work closely with the sales team to identify and convert new salons to Goldwell. You will be the trusted link between our brand and the salons, leveraging your real-world hairdressing, expert colour, and retail experience to foster long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and support hairdressers in using Kao Salon Division products, enhancing skills in both existing and new accounts in your region.
  • Engage with salon teams and collaborate with sales to deliver best practices and prioritise customer needs.
  • Present new products, promotions, and education opportunities at internal and external meetings.
  • Plan and manage your area to ensure effective and productive coverage.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry trends and Kao's offerings.
  • Act as a positive Brand Ambassador, representing Kao at industry events and supporting Kao Salon Division events when required.
  • Complete all required reports and documentation accurately.

Required profile:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing.
  • Minimum 5 years of salon experience with proven expertise in hair colouring and hair care products.
  • Experience in training others, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid UK Driver's Licence.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and professional with a strong technical understanding of hair colouring.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
