About the Role
We are looking for a Process and IT Systems Manager to work across all business functions to bring structure, consistency, and best practice to legacy processes and systems. The role will define and execute a medium-to-long-term strategy for digital transformation, aligned with Kao’s ambitions and growth objectives.
As a Process & IT Systems Manager, you will be a strategic and technically adept leader responsible for designing and implementing a scalable, cross-functional process and systems infrastructure. This role is central to Kao’s business transformation agenda, ensuring business process excellence and readiness for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a holistic process and systems strategy, incorporating use of AI and aligned with Kao’s business goals and growth plans.
- Act as a transformation catalyst, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across all functions.
- Assess current business processes and systems; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement scalable, cross-functional processes that support growth and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to understand needs, gain buy-in, and ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- Manage Kao’s portfolio of core business applications (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday) in partnership with Alliance, Kao’s third-party IT provider.
- Ensure seamless integration between enterprise applications and platforms.
- Establish governance frameworks for process and systems change, ensuring alignment with compliance, security and operational standards.
- Manage IT systems costs against budget and define process for future IT systems investment decision-making.
- Define and track KPIs for process and systems performance, including adoption rates, efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Lead and manage the relationship with Alliance and other third party vendors, ensuring service delivery aligns with Kao’s strategic objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent professional experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications desirable (e.g. ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma).
- Proven experience in business transformation, process improvement, and systems strategy.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday) and their role in enabling business operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable ability to implement new frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Considerable experience managing third-party IT service providers.
- Familiarity with AI strategy and digital transformation programmes is highly desirable.
- Results-oriented, strategic and driven by success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and change management skills.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
