About The Role
We are expanding our bid and knowledge management capability within TPXimpact's Growth function and are seeking a highly organised and experienced Bid & Knowledge Manager. This role sits at the centre of our bidding operations and will be accountable for end-to-end bid management, high-quality bid writing, and ownership of TPXimpact's knowledge and content library. You will ensure we produce compelling, compliant and tailored bids across our core sectors while maintaining best-practice processes, reusable content, case studies, and collateral that enable consistent high win rates. You'll work collaboratively with Partners, Account teams, Communities of Practice, Marketing and Delivery SMEs to ensure our proposals reflect the depth and breadth of TPXimpact's offer. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on bid writing, bid management, and strategic knowledge management, with responsibility for coaching colleagues and continuously improving our content assets and ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Bid Management & Delivery: Lead assigned bids through the full lifecycle, from qualification to submission, working closely with Partners and SMEs. Coordinate storyboarding, content planning, writing schedules, governance reviews and executive sign-off. Develop clear win strategies and ensure all content aligns to the strategy, evaluation criteria and client needs. Manage timelines, risks, assumptions and dependencies throughout the bid process. Facilitate bid reviews, retrospectives and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across the team.
- Bid Writing & Content Development: Write, edit and refine compelling, accurate and compliant responses tailored to client requirements. Coach SMEs and contributors in writing best practice, ensuring clarity, consistency, tone of voice and impact. Rework and adapt existing content from library materials, ensuring reuse where appropriate. Support the creation of graphics, CVs, case studies, value propositions and pitch materials.
- Knowledge Management & Content Library Ownership: Develop and manage the bid content library, ensuring materials are current, searchable, high-quality and reusable. Maintain and continually improve case studies, boilerplate text, methodology descriptions, service summaries, proof points, graphics, templates and tools. Work with Marketing, Delivery and Communities of Practice to capture new collateral and lessons learned. Monitor content performance and identify gaps where new materials are required. Embed consistent naming conventions, taxonomy and governance for knowledge assets.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Build strong relationships across Growth, Account Development, Commercial and Delivery teams. Contribute to improving the bid process, templates, standards and governance. Support framework submissions, pre-ITT preparation, partner-led bids and accreditations as needed. Share best practice and contribute to the wider Growth practice.
About You
Professional Knowledge & Experience: You are detail driven, proactive and thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. You combine excellent written communication skills with a structured approach to managing multi-stakeholder bids.
