Kanza Cooperative is seeking an Agronomy Billing Associate to join our financially strong, locally owned agribusiness. This position plays a key role in supporting our Agronomy operations by providing accurate accounting, inventory, and administrative support while delivering excellent customer service. In this role, you will work closely with customers, agronomy teams, and internal departments to ensure timely billing, accurate reporting, and smooth day-to-day operations. The Agronomy Billing Associate is an important part of maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting efficient agronomy services across the Cooperative.

The Agronomy Billing Associate is responsible for providing exceptional internal and external customer service while performing accounting, inventory, and administrative duties related to agronomy operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide outstanding customer service to customers in person and by phone by responding promptly to questions, payments, and billing inquiries
- Support agronomy accounting and administrative operations to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Enter agronomy job cards, load data, and process purchase orders with attention to detail
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly agronomy accounting and inventory reports
- Maintain organized and accurate filing of invoices, scale tickets, and job cards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, employees, and management
- Promote teamwork and collaborate effectively across departments
- Manage difficult or emotional situations with professionalism and respect
- Understand and comply with all state and federal regulations
- Maintain safety awareness and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Present a clean, professional appearance and maintain reliable attendance
Agronomy Accounting Support May Include:
- Preparing daily bank deposits and reconciling cash drawers
- Processing agronomy billing, fuel reports, and maintenance records
- Ordering agronomy and fuel supplies and products
- Managing schedules for monthly inspections
- Accurately communicating with customers regarding billing splits and invoice details

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months–1 year of accounting or administrative experience preferred (or equivalent experience)

- Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to learn accounting and inventory software
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and perform basic physical job duties
