We're looking for a Section Foreperson to join our United Utilities Framework based in Greater Manchester.

Location: Eccles, Greater Manchester

Hours: 45 per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Section Foreperson, you'll play a vital role in supervising site activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills whilst working on meaningful infrastructure projects that make a real difference to communities.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Supervising daily activities within your assigned section, ensuring all work is completed safely and meets project specifications.
  • Coordinating site labour, plant, and materials to maintain smooth operations aligned with project schedules.
  • Monitoring progress and proactively communicating any delays or issues to the Site Manager.
  • Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to guide operatives and subcontractors effectively.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Construction, SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS card).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to work across various locations.
  • Transferable skills are always welcome.
